ANTENNA TOPPERS
It's an antenna topper ball, and you can buy an assortment of them for ten to twenty cents each in quantities of 1,000 ($100 to $200 for 1000 toppers) from China. From Bill Myers' July 17, 2014 forum post.
The topper seen in the pic above you can find at Amazon for $8 each. The Amazon product is called the "California Sunshine Open Ray Sun Antenna Ball Topper." Whew! A mouthful. eBay sells the same antenna topper for $4, but there it's called the "Cool Sun Sunglasses Antenna Topper Ball--NIP." I have no idea what the NIP stands for.
And though Alibaba is a good place to buy these in bulk, it's not always easy to find the exact same item. But maybe you wouldn't need the same item. Maybe a near item would sell just as well.
