I will follow Bill Myers guideline here on purchasing my next laptop.
1. A fast quadcore processor--at minimum, an i3 processor but prefer an i5.
2. Get more than 4GB of RAM; preferably, 6GB.
3. Shoot for the Windows 7/64 bit. Avoid the Windows 8 and the touchscreen.
