Okay, thanks to JD at "How to Geek," I learned that no installation or set-up disc is required for this camera. All that is required is to open the Camera app in Windows 10 and then switch from the built-in, default camera to the LifeCam, and voila.

all that is necessary is to plug the camera into the computer
Thus there is no set-up disc or thing to install at all.
Have you tried opening an app that supports cameras such as the “Camera” app in Windows 10 to see if the camera works there?
